The Barn at Berryfields

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

My girlfriends and I decided to check out a new lunch spot this week, and oh are we glad we did.

Berryfields Farm in Meriden is a short drive into the countryside from Coventry. They pride themselves on their local, seasonal and sustainable menu.

They serve excellent dishes from nibbles to full roasted meats.

We started with a round of starters to share (pork crackling, halloumi, pigs in blankets and pork belly). All the winter essentials.

With a side of cocktails (we recommend the Peach Bellini!)

They also have a pretty spectacular gin selection for those partial to a G&T. That's on my radar for my next visit.

I had the steak ciabatta for my main which was delicious. I'd had my eyes on their fishcakes and eggs Benedict but the kitchen had run out so I'll just have to come back soon.

After you've had your fill (of both the food and stunning views over the fields) head downstairs to the farm shop.

And pick up some treats to take home!

The ideal little lunchtime hideaway from the cold weather!
