Talland Bay

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

We left our first full day in Cornwall open so that we could wander the streets of Polperro, get our bearings and enjoy the sunshine.

There are so many little shops selling all sorts of goods.

Dad had to keep dragging Mum and I out so that we didn't buy more than we could carry home.

I'm getting serious garden envy here, everywhere you turn there are pots and planters overspilling with fragrant flowers.

With the weather being so great we thought we'd hike the coastal path over to Talland Bay to the beach club for lunch.

You can walk all the way into Looe, but it's a pretty steep incline at times, so the two miles each way to the bay seemed more than enough to work up an appetite.

Luckily the beach club does excellent sandwiches! Order a few and share between you (we recommend the crab!)

Cookie cooled off whilst we chowed down.

Before we knew it, it was time to get home to freshen up and change for the evening.
