Rose's Cafe, SF
Updated: Apr 6, 2020
On our last morning in San Francisco we wanted to make the most of the beautiful sunshine bathing the city. It really felt like Spring as soon as you walked out the door and we wanted to soak up every minute of that.
Whilst in the city I definitely wanted to 'ride the rails', so we headed down to Powell Street to catch the trolley. It is the world's last manual cable car system and an icon of San Francisco.
Off we trundled up the steep hills, towards breakfast!
Catching glimpses of the bay as we passed.
We hopped off at the end of the line and headed to a little spot in the sun, so good I feel I'm giving up a secret telling you all about it.
Rose's Cafe in Cow Hollow is a real gem.
Definitely try and snag a table outside, its such a beautiful neighbourhood!
Order a bowl of Mocha!
And one of their signature breakfast pizzas.
And while away an hour or two, people watching and reading the papers.
We walked back to the hotel to pick up our luggage and head to the airport.
Passing blossom and lemon trees along the way, the air heavy with the scent of the coming season.
I can't think of a more perfect last morning in San Francisco, she treated us so well and we can't wait to go back.
