Margaritaville

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

I feel as though Summer is really starting to hot up now, so what better excuse do we need to make killer frozen margaritas! These are so easy to blast in the blender and are soooo good you'll be whipping up another as soon as you've slurped your first. The perfect adult slushie!

We love to make these when we have friends over and they go down really well before ceviche and tacos.

Most blenders will do the job but I use the nutribullet as it handles the ice pretty well. Here's what you'll need.

Frozen Margaritas:

  • Tequila (1 measure)

  • Triple sec (1 measure)

  • Fresh lime juice (2 measures)

  • Ice (2 large handfuls)

  • Salt (optional - for rim of glass)

Squeeze your fresh limes to get lots of juice. Throw everything bar the salt into your blender and blast for 15 to 20 seconds (or until it reaches that perfect half solid half liquid consistency). Salt the rim of your glass by dipping in triple sec and then the salt (if that's how you like it!), pour your slush and you're good to go!

Serve these at your next fiesta and your guests will be coming back for more!
