Life is Gourd

A few photos from Malt Kiln Farm last week. One of my favourite places no matter what the season, they've always got some treasures to pick. From squashes to sunflowers, blackberries to broad beans, and an amazing farm shop and kitchen to boot. The perfect place for a morning outside followed by a wholesome home-cooked meal.




We took Bobby (my friend Steph's little boy) to choose a pumpkin for carving. It was a really muddy walk down to the field, tricky even for those of us who have long legs! So our lunch back at Rebecca's Cafe was well earned.






The farmshop is also worth a mooch around, with cheese from just about every county, an amazing butchers, jams and chutneys, home bread baking mixes, I could easily leave with a basket full.


And just like that it was November...
