Fortnightly Favourites #7
Updated: Apr 5, 2020
This fortnight's favourites are a couple of days late (sorry! - I have been super busy this week and trying to catch up). Hope they spark some joy for you too.
1. Spice Girls
I have been a huge Spice Girls fan since I was little and unwrapped their Spice album on cassette for Christmas. As soon as they announced their Spice World tour I knew my friends and I had to go (and even better they were performing in our home town).
And they did not disappoint, a night I will remember forever!. Obviously I had to go all out on glitter for the occasion!
Face gems: Superdrug
Spice up your life.
2. Kettners Townhouse
Mine and Hannah's new favourite haunt for a late night drink in Soho. They've recently refurbished the champagne bar and it is swoon worthy! And if you're peckish for a midnight snack after, head to Old Town 97. A little hole in the wall serving up insane Chinese food 'til the early hours.
I've just watched the last episode and could not get enough. A really moving and informative drama surrounding the 1986 nuclear power plant explosion in the Soviet Union. Put it on your watch list.
4. Aperol Spritz
Summer is finally here, which can only mean one thing. You''ll likely find me with an Aperol in hand, my drink of choice for sunny weather.
Black and white earrings: Sold out (similar here)
Denim jacket: Vintage (Shoreditch Market)
Black Ribbed Jumpsuit: New Look
Even better on a rooftop bar with friends!
5. Petersham Nurseries
I have been wanted to have lunch here for so long and finally got the chance last week. Out in Richmond surrounded by gorgeous parkland you'll find the prettiest little garden centre and restaurant. Dine on incredible Italian food underneath trellises heavy with bourgenvilla.
Denim Jacket: Last season from Stradivarius (similar here)
Dress: Vintage from Cow Nottingham
Book a table or you don't really stand a chance at getting seated! Full blog post coming soon.
