Charlecote Park

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

I had a spare afternoon this week, and with the sun shining it seemed like a great excuse to get outside and enjoy the weather. About 25 minutes from Coventry is Charlecote Park, a National Trust owned country house, set in rural parkland near Stratford-upon-Avon.

I've been before so know that its a lovely spot to take a book on a nice day and just relax outside.

The wisteria is still in full bloom! I think we all know how much I love this lilac coloured heavenly scented flower, but it won't be around for much longer! The houses in the local village are covered with it which looks pretty spectacular at this time of year.

There's some great picnic spots! Or the Orangery serves up food too.

I was lucky enough to receive a Life Membership to the National Trust as a birthday gift from my aunt and uncle a few years ago. There's quite few good locations local to us that I like to explore, especially with weather as glorious as this!
