Blowing the Cobwebs Away
Updated: Apr 6, 2020
George and I wanted to get out this weekend and enjoy a little winter sunshine.
We took a drive to a local National Trust location called Upton House. We've visited before in the springtime, but it was lovely to visit just as we turn the corner into Christmas week and see all the festivities. Lovely wreaths on the doors and trees twinkling in the windows.
On the way back we stopped at a little windmill. On a hilltop, overlooking the Warwickshire countryside, is Chesterton Windmill.
The perfect spot for a short walk to blow the cobwebs away.
The sun was just starting to set, and we finally had a day filled with blue sky.
We enjoyed the last few rays of weak winter warmth before heading home to wrap the last few Christmas presents!
